Dr. Bryan Rossi is the new Program Director of High School for Recording Arts. Bryan has been a long time coach, evaluator, project director, troubleshooter and friend to HSRA. In his new position, he will carry forth the Executive Director's mission and vision in directing the day to day affairs of HSRA. Bryan takes the place of former Program Director, Tony Simmons, who will become Director of Development for HSRA.

Dr. Rossi works with innovations in education theory and practice. For the past six years he has been involved in the charter school movement helping people create new initiatives including The St. Paul Conservatory for the Performing Arts, an education initiative from the mayor of St. Paul, Watershed Waldorf Charter School, Chiron Middle School, Minnesota Internship Center, Dugsi Academy, and several others.

Bryan holds Minnesota licensure as a French teacher, Secondary School Principal and School Superintendent and has a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Thomas and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota. Bryan has been a classroom teacher for 15 years at both the high school and middle school levels. His administrative experience includes transitioning from a junior high to a middle school model, strategic planning in both district wide technology and school wide curriculum initiatives and championing student centered policies and practices. He has had experience as a public school principal and executive director of a non-profit alternative high school serving learners at-risk and director of a charter elementary school. Bryan has been working with Studio 4 in the areas of continuous school improvement and accreditation on behalf of High School for Recording Arts for the past five years. A professional musician since the age of 15, Bryan performs with several groups including the Latin Sounds Orchestra and is the founding member of the Latin Jazz Workshop. He is proudly joining the Studio 4 team as its newest member.
